ABOUT OTSEA

The Overseas Telecommunications Services Employees Association is an emanation of the Cable & Wireless Employees Association when the Government took over the former Cable & wireless Co.Ltd.in 1985.

At the Merger between the Mauritius Telecommunications Services Co. Ltd. our membnership was around 300 .Due to our proactiveness ,devotion and our commitment to defend the rights of our members and to improve their lot our membership has been constantly growing to stand at around 600 nowadays.

Otsea is growing fast and we have placed training as our major priority to face the threats and dangers of privatisation and liberalisation .

Our Mission

• To defend the interests and rights of our members and to endeavour to improve already acquired rights.
• To endeavour together with the Management of the Company to setup the necessary Telecommunications infrastructure to enable the country to continue its economic growth for the continued prosperity of the Mauritian nation.
